The comic artist known as Sio (Simone Albrigi) has crafted the children’s poster for the 2024 edition of Cartoons On The Bay, the International Festival of Animation, Transmedia, and Meta-Arts, scheduled to run in Pescara from May 29th to June 2nd under the artistic direction of Roberto Genovesi. The poster focuses on play, color, and storytelling: “People need to play, move, and hear stories,” says Sio. “There’s no more effective and versatile way to tell a story today than through animation.” Sio is a comic artist and YouTuber with over 2.3 million subscribers and more than half a billion views.
