Pedro Armocida was born in Madrid in 1971. He is an essayist, a professor of film criticism at “La Sapienza” in Rome, and author of various cinema essays. Artistic director of the Pesaro Film Festival since 2015, he holds some equally important positions: he is a member of the steering committee of the “Festival Italiani di Cinema” (AFIC) association, and since 2021 he is vice-president of the Italian Film Critics Union (SNCCI). He currently collaborates with Il Giornale, Film Tv, CinecittàNews, Ciak, Box Office, 8 ½, and MyMovies.
