International animation takes the spotlight at Cartoons On The Bay with the Italian premiere of Maracuda – Growing Up Is a Jungle, the latest film by director Viktor Glukhushin. The screening will take place on Saturday, May 31 at 8:30 PM at Cinema Teatro Massimo in Pescara, with free admission. The film follows the wild and whimsical adventures of Maracuda, the spirited son of a revered tribal chief, as he navigates the challenges of growing up. Beyond the humor and action, the story offers a heartfelt reflection on self-discovery and the search for one’s place in the world. Audiences will meet a host of vibrant characters, including Tink—a lovable alien bird longing to return home, Rock—Maracuda’s stern father, and Spring—his daring, weapon-savvy older sister. Maracuda hits theaters nationwide on June 5. Now in full swing from May 29 to June 1, Cartoons On The Bay is directed by Roberto Genovesi and promoted by Rai, with organization by Rai Com in partnership with the Abruzzo Region and the City of Pescara.
